TESTIMONIALS
Words from piano students, parents and mentors
Casey is a kind, competent and professional piano instructor. She always makes lessons fun for my 6-year-old, who has grown immensely during his time with her, and has always enjoyed attending his private lessons. He specifically describes her as 'really nice and encouraging.' We're grateful for her guidance on his piano journey.
Toni Becker, parent from University of Denver's Piano Prep Program
My kids started taking lessons with Casey at 10 and 6 years old and have loved every lesson! They take great pride in learning new songs and she makes each lesson fun and challenging but in a way that it doesn’t feel like work. They were so excited to have their first recital in December and loved having the choice of either playing a solo or duet with Ms. Casey. It was an enjoyable performance from all the children. We highly recommend Casey if you are looking for a fun and positive atmosphere for your child to learn piano!

What makes Casey an exceptional teacher is her kind, calm and innovative instruction. Thanks to her systematic approach, I believe the Lamont piano prep students will never forget how to draw and spell all the elements of the grand staff!

Ms. Casey is the best piano teacher! I like how she points out and fixes my mistakes, how she gives me constructive criticism, and how she encourages me to try new pieces. She is also fun to be around. I love playing piano with her!
Dana, 9 year old student
Casey is an organized, thoughtful educator who is comfortable in all teaching situations. I have observed her facilitate adult group classes, preparatory group classes and individuals lessons as a seasoned professional, and have been lucky to work alongside her to present at CSMTA and NCKP. She is always striving for the best possible musical experience in her classroom and meeting the needs of all her students, wether they are young children or aging adults. Work ethic and communication skills are among her most admirable traits, alongside her consistently warm and pleasant demeanor.

Loud and Proud is a fantastic piano studio! We have known Casey for several years and have watched her grow and develop from a promising graduate student to a first-rate piano teacher. Casey teaches our kids, blending in with ease theory, foundational skills, and practical instruction. Perhaps most importantly, the kids love her and because of her they love piano. Highly recommended!

I have been taking adult piano lessons with Casey for about three months now, after having been away from the piano for more than 25 years. I cannot think of a better teacher to have started with! Because part of Casey's degree is pedagogy, she is able to describe things in different ways, and she has all kinds of tips, tricks, and exercises to help me improve. Best, though, is that Casey has embraced music as being a joyful part of life. She does want me to feel like I am improving, but more importantly to me: we have fun during the lessons, and my homework is challenging - not tedious repetition. I am enjoying the experience, doing things that I have never done before, and am only too happy to recommend her.

My son worked with Casey for two years and went from zero knowledge to completing preparatory level. I couldn't be happier with how much he learned and that Casey encouraged his "joie de music" along every step of the way. Casey's lifelong experience and higher studies has made her a great teacher for students of all ages
